The Company

Hofmeister Holzwaren GmbH was founded in 1978 by Hans-Günter Hofmeister in Fredelsloh. Initially starting as a retail store for baskets and wooden goods, the company was renamed Hofmeister und Hildebrand GmbH in 1984. In the 1990s, the company expanded and began importing internationally. In 2002, the company focused entirely on wholesale and moved to Barlissen. In 2008, Hans-Günter's son Steve took over the management. Today, Hofmeister offers a wide range of sustainable wood products and focuses on environmentally friendly packaging solutions.
