The central storage of verified information in Pimcore now guarantees secure and intuitive applications with low maintenance requirements. Product data sheets are generated in real time using the Web2Print framework implemented by Blackbit.

The family-run company A2S-Furnishing Systems was founded in 1937 and now has four production sites, where over 800 employees bring the vision of the furnishing specialist to life. From its base in Stockheim, A2S advises customers worldwide and supplies them with purpose-built furnishing modules.The Challenge: Shortening Time-To-Market in Marketing
A2S-Furnishing Systems wanted to make product data sheets more efficiently. In the future, they wanted to create these using all the info they had in one simple process. To do this, they needed to set up a new product info management system and move existing product data from some old software.
The Initial Situation: Outdated Software, Complicated Processes, Excessive Distribution Costs
The previous WordPress site had a confusing product structure, did not offer adequate mobile display, and was therefore unattractive to users. Above all, the B2B sales department of A2S-Furnishing Systems hoped that optimized product communication would increase sales and reduce distribution costs.
The Solution: A Holistic Approach Based on Pimcore
As an experienced Pimcore Platinum Partner, we worked with A2S in joint workshops to develop an ideal data model. Our solution and intuitive user interface convinced ASS to choose Blackbit as their solution provider and Pimcore as their platform, resulting in an initial commission to replace the existing software, migrate product information, and create product sheets.
Following the positive experience with Pimcore and Blackbit, the relaunch of the website was commissioned. The holistic solution proposed by Blackbit is based on the product information stored in Pimcore. It includes updating the print information, a new website, and, of course, communicating the corporate vision of ASS..
Implementation: Integration of Pim and CMS for Efficient Management of Extensive Product Information
Working closely with A2S, Blackbit developed a user-friendly website with a clear information structure. The modular templates are easy to maintain and offer creative freedom thanks to flexible blocks. To efficiently manage a large, diverse product range, the CMS accesses information directly from the product information management system. Thanks to regular maintenance via the integrated data and asset management system, product data is always up to date. The integration of CMS and PIM in a single platform also eliminates additional steps for maintaining product information on the website and in the electronic catalog.
The Result: A Successful System Change With Greater Freedom of Design
The ASS marketing department's desire to make the website easily accessible to users with the entire range of products and to communicate the A2S vision in addition to a technically perfect solution was successfully implemented in a visually stunning way. Some features of the redesigned website:

- Lazy loading for smooth configurator performance and fast page loading times
- User-friendly, search engine optimized menu
- Appealing image galleries showing A2S furniture in selected room concepts
- Powerful full-text search for an optimal user experience
Product data sheets are generated in real time using the Web2Print framework implemented by Blackbit. This means they can be downloaded from the website at any time in various languages, updated daily. Blackbit was able to reduce the considerable translation effort by using Pimcore Data Director, which has a DeepL interface for automatic translation.
